A new and outstanding opportunity has arisen within our HR & Administration team to undertake the role of HR Administrator on a 12-month full-time contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

The role provides a contemporary customer-focused human resource advisory, support and administrative service to managers and staff at all levels across the organisation. 

Essential Duties

Responsible for providing support to managers and staff on all aspects of human resource management. This includes:

  • Establishment
  • Recruitment
  • Induction/Orientation
  • Learning and Development
  • Performance Management
  • Workplace Relations
  • Health & Safety
  • EEO/Diversity

Coordinates various HR programs including the Staff Wellness Program, Staff Social Program and Outstanding Employee of the Month awards.

As required participates in the implementation and promotion of human resource management policies, guidelines, procedures and processes.

On a regular basis compiles, statistical information and reports on HR data.  

Provides adhoc Reception cover as needed.

Qualification Requirements

  • 3+ Years human resource experience in the delivery of a broad range of human resource services.
  • Relevant experience in the effective delivery of services to managers and staff together with a personal commitment to continually achieving a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience and ability to quickly learn new systems with training.
  • Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge of, relevant legislation, processes and protocols.

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability to liaise with others at all levels.
  • Well-developed organisational and prioritising skills together with the capacity to utilise initiative in a demanding environment.
  • Research, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and co-operatively as required.
