We are looking for a dynamic and motivated People and Culture Manager to join us in our Brisbane office on a full-time basis for 12 - 14 months to help cover a period of parental leave. We are seeking candidates who are energetic, and are skilled generalists with strong technical knowledge.

Reporting to the Group People & Talent Manager, you are a leader who will provide support to some of our Queensland and New South Wales locations, executing key HR initiatives and enabling a high performance culture. Case management, executing key HR initiatives and supporting our internal cultural initiatives will be your focus. You will oversee and manage the overall provision of HR services and programs in our Queensland and New South Wales offices - this includes management and coaching of the local HR team, policy implementation, the local Workplace Health and Safety process and generalist Human Resources Activities.

The right candidate will hold a tertiary degree in Human Resources (or related), demonstrated experience leading others and have 5 or more years' previous work experience in a generalist HR role.

A drivers licence will be required as travel to regional offices will be needed on occasion.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be an ambassador for the cultural program and drive these initiatives across the region
  • Managing resourcing issues such as secondments, internal transfers, parental leave and workforce planning;
  • Oversee sensitive matters such as redundancy, terminations and investigations;
  • Provide advice and information to management and employees on HR policies and procedures;
  • Support P&C Officers to drive performance management processes and other case management activities;
  • Coordinate the successful completion of cyclical activities such as performance reviews and our annual salary review processes; and
  • Collaboration with key internal stakeholders such as Executive Managing Partners and Managing Partners to support key business objectives.
