Who we are

We are NSW’s bulk water supplier, river operator and one-stop shop for licensing, water trades and water information.  We supply two-thirds of water used in NSW from our 42 dams, rivers and pipelines to regional towns, irrigators, Sydney Water and local water utilities. We also own and operate the largest surface and groundwater monitoring network in the southern hemisphere and build, maintain and operate essential infrastructure. 

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and innovative HR Reporting Analyst to join our People, Capability & Transformation team on a 12 month fixed term contract (with a view to extension) based in Parramatta. In this role you will be pivotal to ensuring the remuneration & performance activities are delivered, providing quality advice along the way, while working autonomously on a range of programs. Reporting to Remuneration Manager, in this role you will be improving reporting capabilities through system changes.

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience in compensation & performance data collation, data analysis and calculations. 
  • Experience in generating high quality reports and documentation for the Executive team and Board of Directors.
  • Maintaining the organisation structure and monitoring FTE, salaries and wages against budget.
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets with an ability to produce meaningful analysis and forecasts.
  • Interpreting business performance indicators and producing relevant HR metrics data.
  • Background in the application of contemporary HR metrics, reporting trends and knowledge of best practice in the workplace.
  • Passion for analyzing and interpreting data, coupled with an eye for detail and accuracy.

What you will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business analytics or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working as an analyst within a remuneration or similar HR function with advanced EXCEL skills.
  • Experience in using ERP systems.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and patterns.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with managers and staff across a variety of business units and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously whilst proactively managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Resilient personality with the ability to creatively resolve problems.
