Job tasks and responsibilities
This position requires an entry level HR generalist to drive continuous improvement in our culture, employee development and management capability within our Material Processing segment. Reporting to the HR Leader for Australia and South East Asia, this autonomous role will allow you the freedom to partner with the local management of the business and implement, monitor and modify a wide range of initiatives to assist the business in meeting their objectives. You will also lead the team in HSE programs and assist the business in building the requisite foundation of a safety culture to achieve our target of Zero Harm.
As part of our small and dedicated Australian HR team, you will have support and assistance from other HR professionals locally as well as an extensive network of Senior HR executives overseas. You will be required to travel domestically to all interstate offices to assist our regional branches in achieving their corporate objectives.
Skills and experience
In order to be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the delivery of HR services which has positively impacted business goals. Furthermore, you will be able to show the ability to work independently within a designated framework of HR and have an understanding of key cultural drivers for a business which strives for continuous improvement. You will also have demonstrated the ability to pragmatically implement the learnings from your HR-related degree and other experiences.
