The Opportunity
 
We have a brand new opportunity for an Associate Consultant to join our growing Talent, Performance and Reward team based in our Sydney CBD office. As our new Associate Consultant you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Reward Advisory team, whilst ensuring Aon’s remuneration reports across a particular industry vertical are of the highest possible market relevance and data quality. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of your portfolio and really make a difference. Responsibilities will include:
 

• Advisory support will form the main responsibilities for this role. This will include analytical and general project support to Advisory led consulting assignments along with further refinement and application of an intermediate level understanding across various fields of remuneration consulting –remuneration benchmarking, remuneration strategy / framework design, incentive plan design, sales compensation, reward optimisation, remuneration review support and solutions.
• Executive remuneration survey subscriber account management and development responsibilities; including proactive account management of survey participants management of data audits, and ownership of developing new survey participants and new surveys by proactively driving related sales and marketing initiatives and actively contributing to thought leadership development. 
• Accountability for managing the survey production process; including being the escalation point for late data submissions, following up on complex data queries, taking joint responsibility for the Committee Meeting sign-off process and the survey production checks.
• Responsibility for survey changes and improvements; including suggesting new job families, role profiles or other proactive changes and dealing with sign off on survey changes across a dedicated suite of remuneration reports.

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience in an HR Consultancy function, ideally Reward / Executive Compensation or similar human capital related data experience.
• Proven experience in analysis and data interpretation within a commercial environment.
• Tertiary qualifications to minimum Bachelors level.
• Strong business acumen, solid communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships easily.
• Highly organised, sound team player with the drive for continuous development.
