Description
As a Graduate Recruitment Consultant your responsibilities will include identifying, developing and managing client business relationships as well as selling our recruitment services and negotiating the rates of business. You will be responsible for helping the employer's (client's) to recruit candidates for job vacancies, these may be permanent or temporary roles and can range from junior level staff to managers and directors.
You will have to assess and respond to the needs of each client or assignment and ensure timely delivery, and then identify potential candidates through existing contacts found on the Michael Page database or advertising roles and taking the response. Additionally, you will manage the recruitment process from interview to offer stage and beyond. That includes sourcing and interviewing candidates, negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients. Your goal is to build mutual benefiting relationships with clients and candidates and work as part of a passionate team to maximise Michael Page's commercial performance.
Consultants also provide advice to both clients and candidates on training requirements, salary levels and career opportunities. Developing solid relationships and managing both the expectations of clients and candidates is integral to the role
Profile
You will be a driven, ambitious individual that is looking to work in a fast paced, target driven environment. Previous experience in customer facing environments would be highly beneficial (sales, retail, hospitality, etc.), but is not essential, however a positive attitude and strong worth ethic is!
