This is a great career opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our clients business in a national position during a very exciting time for the business. Our client has recently experienced and continues to experience exponential business growth and is looking for someone to take on a position as a WH&S and facilities Coordinator.

This is a role with variety and will be responsible for coordinating all health, safety & facilities activities within the company nationally.  This is a very hands on role, and will see you working on strategic safety projects, helping to build a safety aware culture in the business and make sure that our building and working environment are of a high standard. On the job Safety training will be provided to the right person.

The successful candidate will effectively contribute to the success of the business by:

  • Coordinate WH&S activities, provide advice, coaching & support to all areas of the business.
  • Ensure company compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Increase the strength of business by developing and implementing key safety strategies & projects.
  • Perform risk assessments for manual handling, fire risk assessment & plant safety. 
  • Responding to facilities request for work issued by the client, sourcing and allocating work to qualified subcontractors.
  • Monitor actual costs to budget, formulate plans and drive action to reduce overspend.
  • Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
