Are you looking to join a true Senior HR Business Partner role, where you will be autonomously operating within a diverse blue collar and technical and multi-site client group in a large complex organisation? This is a market leading organisation, where HR has strong collaborative relationship within all levels of the business and is highly regarded function.
As the HR Business Partner, you will be working with an Operational client group with a down-to-earth culture. You will be accountable for partnering with the business in collaboration with the People & Culture team to contribute to the wider business agenda and present solutions to leadership that enable success through their people. This role is based primarily at the western suburbs of Sydney and reporting into a Manager based in Melbourne.
- Supporting managers to deal with underperforming employees (warnings, investigations, Performance Improvement etc)
- Talent and succession planning, discussing talent and creating opportunities through the business to grow talent
- Dealing with unions and employee grievances and disputes
- Attending management meetings and contributing at the table on ways that HR can enable the business to overcome problems not just in the HR space
To be successful in this contract you will have:
- Previous HR Business Partnering experience within a blue collar/ Operational environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of IR/ER, return to work relevant legislation
- Highly developed analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent customer focus and ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders
- Highly developed negotiating and networking skills
- Experience across generalist HR areas such as diversity, talent, engagement, ER, remuneration, recruitment
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
