HR Coordinator – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Based in the heart of Sydney CBD, you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional HR support in  various areas with the aim of ensuring smooth operation of the HR department. This role is a full time 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to become permanent.

Reporting to our HR Department Manager, the successful candidate will be required to perform the following:

  • Be the first point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR related matters
  • Responsible for end to end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
  • Monitor employment arrangements and maintain personnel records
  • Communication of employee movements and update organisation charts, headcount reports and other HR ad-hoc reports on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate training, event organise L&D seminars and conduct workshops
  • Management of rental lease agreements for expatriate employees and assist with visa applications
  • Review and enhance HR forms, policies and procedures
  • Coordination of annual performance review process
  • Process HR related invoices and monthly payments
  • Data entry, extraction and maintenance of various HR information systems
  • Support Senior Payroll Officer with administrative payroll duties

ABOUT YOU:

  • High integrity and work ethic
  • Quick learner and ready to hit the ground running
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Able to work autonomously and use good judgment
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in HR Administrator/Assistant capacity
  • Tertiary degree in HR desirable
  • Basic understanding of SAP would be advantageous
