The role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join this Government Department in a challenging and rewarding role. You will be providing expert advice and guidance to improve data expertise within Government.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies to develop career paths for data professionals within Government
Support implementation of a learning and development package in align with Government's data capability framework
Develop suitable sourcing strategies
Provide strategic advice to the CDO and key stakeholders
Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of both the capability and professional development initiates and identify opportunities for improvement

Required

Extensive experience in workforce planning/ learning & development / human resource
Experience developing strategies to improve HR capabilities and professional development
Ability to influence senior stakeholders
Ability to identify need for change
Prior public sector experience - highly regarded
