More About the Role

We have a small, agile and passionate HR team which means you will get exposure to lots of cool projects and the coaching you need to grow in your role. 

You will be a key point of contact and support for the HR team, as well as the wider business. 

The role will have a mixture of analytical, advisory, project and administration elements. 

Key to this role is preparing and analysing high quality people data and being the custodian of our people metrics so we can measure the impact we are making.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • People analytics – lead and lag indicators turning data into useful business insights
  • Remuneration review processes, analytics and salary benchmarking
  • Administration, analysis reporting of regular Culture & Employee Experience Surveys
  • Induction and onboarding of new people
  • Generalist HR advice across a range of HR disciplines
  • Employee communication and innovating the way we connect with our people
  • Employee Administration (contracts, letters, incentive programs)
  • Talent analytics and HR board reporting
  • Recruitment administration

Who we’re looking for

This role is ideal for if you're a HR Grad with a couple of years experience under your belt and looking for a role that will give you a broad range of new experiences. 

You navigate well from detail to bigger picture and have savvy analytical skills with prior experience working with people metrics using data to tell important stories.   

You will have a plethora of well-thought out ideas to bring to the table about how we can make things better for our people. 

Your make it happen kind of attitude, has seen you demonstrate initiative rather than wait to be told what to do.  Your curiosity and eagerness to learn has lead you to seek out opportunities to grow through exposure to new things and new people.  You love the challenge of learning something new and can navigate some ambiguity to get the job done.

Skills, knowledge, qualities & experience:

  • Passion for creating an awesome employee experience
  • Achievement orientation and the ability to keep things moving
  • Strong numerical, problem solving, reporting and analytical skills. Manipulating data and turning it into useful insights
  • Solid experience working with Payroll and HR information systems and the ability to extract data
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills and proficient in Powerpoint
  • Great communicator and relationship builder
  • Excellent planning and organising skills
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and visual
  • High attention to detail
  • Creativity and agility
  • Ideally a degree in HR, Business, psychology and with some exposure to statistics or a related field
  • An ability to work autonomously as well as contribute to a team environment
  • Works well under pressure and can comfortably manage multiple requests and deadlines without things falling through the cracks
