We are looking to appoint an experienced ER/IR Specialist to provide strategic and operational ER/IR advice to business leaders in our Brisbane based operations.
 
In this role, you will support the country ER/IR strategic planning process and deliver specific ER/IR outcomes consistent with that plan, whilst bringing a preventative approach to the proactive identification and management of workplace ER/IR operational matters.
 
As part of this role, you will be required to manage operational ER/IR and support the implementation of Industrial Relations Management Plans (IRMPs) of critical third party contractors.  In addition, you will lead & coach other HR professionals in the investigation and management of complex individual cases and provide quality and considered ER/IR advice to line managers while ensuring their ER/IR competences are developed in the process.

Requirements

The person we are seeking to appoint in this key role, will have significant industrial and employee relations experience in an operations environment and will be able to compliment that with tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.    Equally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strategic approach to ER/IR management, and will be  at managing complex workplace investigations, leading or participating in negotiations and resolving complex ER/IR issues.  You will also have a comprehensive understanding of regulatory foundations across state and federal boundaries, including the Fair Work Act, EEO legislation, workers compensation and experience of the Fair Work Commission.
 
As this role is based in Brisbane, to be considered for these role we do need you to be prepared to travel to operational facilities on a regular basis.
