Seeking a dynamic, proactive and experienced HR Manager to Partner with the agencies within the Data Investment Group.  This includes ensuing our people management practices align and support with the achievement of the business priorities through the effective and efficient delivery of end to end to end HR service offering. This is a strong partnership and relationship management role and requires someone with high level of capabilities in problem solving, HR technical skills and commercial acumen.

To be successful in this role, you

This is a critical role for the business and flexibility and agility is key. You will need to demonstrate a sense of urgency and will be commercially focussed and will be required to support a culture that is passionate, dynamic and fast moving.

In three months, you are:

  • Building a solid understanding of data Investment and our agencies, their structure and HR and talent requirements.
  • Understanding the various talent and HR initiatives, policies and processes

In six months, you are:

  • Building trusted relationships with the agencies, having built credibility as a reliable, responsive, trusted advisor
  • Giving clear, considered and concise advice on HR issues and demonstrating sthrong stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority
  • Demonstrate understanding the business, products and services portfolio and capabilities in context of our business strategy

In 12 months, you are:

  • Owning key HR initiatives and ensuring it is delivering the highest level of service to clients as well as meaningful metrics and data for robust decision making
  • First point of contact for all employee relations issues for employees/managers across the Business
  • Improving and building on the business benefits strategy, inclusion and diversity and talent program

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Management of the HR administration function ensuring the team offers a high quality and consistent service across all agencies and employees, whilst working to continually improve accuracy, processes and response times
  • Provide effective HR advice, guidance and solutions to employees/managers across the group; always working within the necessary legal parameters
  • Ensure Data Investment approach to performance management is embedded at all levels across the group (in accordance with HR strategies and principles) thereby contributing to improved business performance; ensuring managers are having regular conversations with their employees about their performance, their development and how they will be measured, bridging any capacity and capability gaps across the group
  • Work with the HR Team to develop meaningful human capital metrics and data for robust decision making and regular report these to the Head of HR & Talent
  • Support the Head of HR & Talent to improve and build on the groups people strategy that includes financial and non-financial elements aligned to each agency culture and values
  • Manage the employee benefits portfolio, communicating regularly to ensure maximum awareness and support to any retention initiatives for top caliber employees at all levels

 

 

Qualifications

 

Candidates will have strong hands-on HR operational and business partner experience and a proven track record of delivering an excellent integrated and client/stakeholder-focussed  HR service, ideally in a matrix organisation. Professional HR qualifications or continuing professional development to demonstrate competence.

In addition, the candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • A strong customer centric mindset, responsive, reliable with ability to manage expectations of internal clients;
  • Articulate, pragmatic and delivery focussed.
  • Strong people and team skills with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals/teams at all levels and to build long term relationships, always with a talent mindset;
  • An obsession with being super organised with outstanding attention for detail;
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn and ‘muck in’ where ever needed.
