Super Gardens is Victoria’s longest standing Commercial Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Construction and Turf Management specialists, servicing a diverse range of clients in Australia for over 29 years.
As we move into 2018/2019, we have an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager to join our Management team. We are seeking an HSEQ Manager who is a flexible team player with strong relationship building and communication skills to perform this key role.
You will enjoy a diverse role with a variety of responsibilities and are passionate about all aspects of WHS including Quality and Environmental compliance and management and promoting a continuous improvement focus. We operate an Integrated Management System, encompassing WHS, Quality and Environment and are proud of our long standing accreditations across all three pillars.
Your key challenges include:
- Review, maintenance and management of the Integrated Management System
- Review, maintenance and management of the HSEQ strategic plan;
- Engaging key stakeholders and implementing activities to reduce LTI's and environmental impacts;
- Maintaining certification for ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ASNZS 4801, including internal and external audits;
- Keeping abreast of changes with legislation and other requirements;
- Conducting customer satisfaction surveys and investigating and following up customer complaints and implementing corrective actions;
- Maintaining and updating company policies and procedures and communicating changes;
- Developing and conducting tool box talks;
- Developing and reviewing risk assessments; conducting site inspections and investigations in consultation with employee representatives and management and ensure corrective actions are implemented as required;
- Providing advice, mentoring, auditing and training employees and subcontractors and ensuring compliance; and
- WorkCover management and Return to Work Coordination.
- Ideally, you will have proven success in a similar role in Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management preferably from the Construction, Grounds Maintenance, Facility Management industries and in a business of a similar size (150-200 employees);
- Management of an integrated management system is essential as we grow our business;
- Strong experience in leading and implementing HSEQ initiatives and working collaboratively with all stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes;
- A minimum of a Certificate IV in OH&S is required;
- A strong understanding of HSEQ legislative requirements and Standards; and
- Completion of Return to Work Coordinator training.
