What's on offer?

The Urbanedge Building Group is looking to employ a positive and self-motivated HR officer. As the HR Officer you will work in a small and busy team to deliver excellent HR services across the business.

Reporting to the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • drafting HR related correspondence and contracts;
  • managing HR and OHS reporting requirements;
  • responding to basic HR policy, training and payroll queries;
  • providing administrative support for HR/OHS/Payroll activities;
  • processing all documentation relating to the employee lifecycle;
  • maintaining employee records;
  • assisting in the recruitment process;
  • Conduct workplace OHS inspections and audits as required and
  • Provide administrative support for WorkCover and Return to Work processes

Who are we looking for?

The right candidate will have;

  • Demonstrated HR administration experience in a similar position
  • Close attention to detail with accurate data entry skills;
  • Ability to prioritise workload;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality;
  • Knowledge and understanding of federal awards and conditions,  Fair Work and Work Cover authorities
  • Previous experience working in a high volume support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and deal with a variety of activities;
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • A team player with a can do attitude.
