Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting an internal Recruitment Consultant to join our leading National Client working out of their Minchinbury office.  Specialising in doors, our Client is an industry leader in their field. The experience customers have when they interact with this organisation is unique because the business genuinely builds its offer around what its customers actually need and want; at prices that they can afford.  These are just some of reasons this brand is taking its competitors by storm. 

Due to the continued success, we are seeking a proactive, results focused, recruitment consultant, to work closely with the leadership team to recruit the highest level of talent to the business. There is some flexibility around the hours. The 20-25 hours per week could be worked over a four or five day week, during school hours…

 

The primary purpose of this role is outlined below but not limited to: 

 

  • You will mostly be responsible for the recruitment of Retail Store Staff across Australia
  • End-to-end recruitment process, sourcing candidates using a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to: Seek, LinkedIn, Careers Page and direct recruiting efforts such as networking events and meeting with job network agencies
  • Educating hiring managers on ‘best practice’ recruitment processes and policies
  • Developing proactive recruitment strategies including talent pools and appropriate networks based on headcount projections
  • You will provide general team HR support as required

To be considered for this role you must have the following key experience and attributes: 

 

  • 4-5 years previous experience in an in-house environment or on-site agency setting. 
  • Knowledge of Retail Recruitment would be highly advantageous
  • A high level of emotional intelligence, tenacity,  resilience, a personable nature, good influencing skills, patience and a sense of humour
  • Computer skills - including proficiency in work, excel and outlook
  • The ability to be autonomously and take ownership
