About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our high-energy, ambitious and solutions oriented People & Culture Team at illion.

 

You will be responsible for providing generalist HR advice, service and operational support to primarily the Technology functions at illion ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and HR best practice. This position will also provide support to the Finance, Legal and Data functions as required.

 

There will be some occasional travel required to our office in Box Hill.

 

You will also:

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to enable a proactive and efficient HR service
  • Assist, advise and coach line managers on the following areas of the employment lifecycle:
    • HR documentation
    • Talent development
    • Culture & engagement
    • Performance Management
    • Termination / Separation process
    • Employee Relations
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Consultant with recruitment needs during period of high volume/demand
  • Contribute to the P&C strategy and support P&C engagement initiatives
  • Be responsible for the maintenance & system administration of illion’s HRIS – PeopleStreme, including regular reporting, technical support and vendor management
  • Provide support to the P&C Manager for monthly company-wide reporting requirements
  • Be responsible for ensuring illion’s WH&S internal procedures and legislative obligations are adhered to
  • Be an advocate for our brand, culture and values

 

You will have:

  • Tertiary degree within Business, Human Resources or a related field of study
  • At least 3 years prior experience within a HR Generalist position (supporting a Technology function will be highly regarded)
  • Computer Literacy - Microsoft Office Suite: Word (Advanced), Excel (Intermediate), PowerPoint (Intermediate) & Outlook (Advanced)
  • Previous experience managing an HRIS (i.e. implementation/configuration/system administration)
  • Have a broad and robust knowledge of current employment legislation and best practice
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of people
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, presentation, administration and work planning skills
  • High levels of initiative and drive
  • Time management skills with proven ability to manage varying priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytics & reporting capability
  • A good sense of humour and high levels of resilience
