The company:

Smile Solutions also known as "Melbourne's Home Of Dentistry", located in the magnificent Manchester Unity Building in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. We utilise the resources, knowledge and experience of more than 80 in-house clinicians. Our dental business is expanding, with our partner Core Dental Group branching out into practices across Victoria. In addition our entrepreneurial mindset has our group reaching into various other industries including as hospitality and healthcare. Overall we work across approximately 15 operating businesses with over 300 team members making our group an energetic, diverse and happening place to be.

 

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a savvy operator to join our team and support in all areas of the  Human Resources function. A dynamic and exciting role, you will be responsible for not only payroll processing but also a diverse range of generalist HR and OHS responsibilities. This unique role has balance of routine and analytics as well as on the ground people focus. The successful candidate will  be part of building the OHS function for our business.

Reporting to the HR Manager your duties would include:

  • Management of HR data and the fortnightly end to end payroll processing
  • Being the Occupational Health and Safety Officer for the business to creating and implementing OHS policies and strategies
  • Conduct workplace audits and staff training
  • Maintenance of all payroll records and the resolution of all people enquiries as required
  • Work in coherence to legislation and award interpretation
  • Other generalist HR duties as required

 

The successful candidate :

  • A happy, fun and people orientated person who can thrive in an open plan environment filled with laughter
  • Experience in payroll, remuneration and benefits
  • Exposure to workplace OHS policy and application
  • Previous experience using ADP would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of current payroll and HR legislation
  • Strong working knowledge Microsoft office and Excel.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
