Our client is a well-known, leading national healthcare organisation that is after a dynamic and passionate Safety Coordinator to be a part of their safety team based in the Northern Beaches. Corporate safety coordinator
- Manage and drive effective implementation of the Safety framework and strategy
- Manage staff injury and return to work with close collaboration and assistance of our Injury Management Co-ordinator
- Analyse data, identify trends and develop programs to close gaps, eliminate risks and build on an existing positive WHS culture
- Influence stakeholders to obtain support for safety, security and compliance programs.
- Manage and evaluate established auditing processes
- Review WHS incidents and recommend improvements
- Empower our people to ensure safety is at the forefront of our businesses.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in WHS or related discipline
- Significant experience working in Work Health & Safety
- Proven success in leading and influencing a positive WHS culture
- Demonstrated success in implementing Risk Management Practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to engage with a range of key stakeholders
- Understanding of health and safety at fit out stages
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively to a diverse workforce
- Demonstration of the ability to develop and implement WHS initiatives
