Our valued client is an established provider of Aged Care in Adelaide, with modern and comfortable facilities in the northern and western suburbs. Compassion and respect underlie the holistic care and well-being they create for all their residents.
An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Human Resources Co-ordinator to proactively manage their 300-strong employee base.
Reporting to the CEO, the position will entail providing generalist people management to a 24 hour workforce across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively managing the recruitment, screening, interviewing and selection process for new employees.
- Processing new employee inductions.
- Facilitating employee development, coaching and training.
- Performance managing and staff counselling.
- Managing and supporting Return to Work requirements.
- Implementing company policies and procedures.
- Providing up to date Award and legislative interpretation.
Necessary requisites for the role include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources.
- Experience in people managing a large and diverse workforce, preferably in the Aged Care or Healthcare sector.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Solid organisational and administrative abilities.
- Familiarity with HR, IR and WH&S legislation.
- A genuine willingness to contribute to and promote the company’s values.
