Talent Acquisition Advisor

This is an exciting time to be a part of the Talent Acquisition function at Amart Furniture. We are building the strategic foundation for recruitment nationally and you will have a real opportunity to shape the way Amart Furniture sources its top talent.

This newly created position is dedicated to ensuring we attract, select and retain the very best Retail Leaders in the country. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and it is based at our new purpose-built office in Rochedale. Some travel interstate will be required.

 

What you will be doing:

In this hands-on recruitment role your primary focus will be to recruit Assistant Managers & Store Managers along with managing the recruitment for our new stores. Each step of the way you will ensure a positive candidate experience from application through to onboarding and you will support with relocation if required. In addition to this you will:

  • Attend Workforce Planning meetings and have a forward view of recruitment activities
  • Manage relationships with agencies and be the central point of contact
  • Assist with the candidate induction/welcome
  • Provide training to the business on best practice recruitment
  • Promote internal vacancies across the business
  • Help to manage the internal referral program
  • Help to manage the succession planning of our internal team members
  • Analyse exit interview and turnover data to provide recommendations to help drive business decisions
  • Work closely with the National Recruitment Specialist on Projects

 

About you:

To be successful in this role you will be innovative and you will think ahead of the game. You will know what best practice recruitment looks like and will enjoy coaching and training others in how to do recruitment the right way.

Above all else you will have a good sense of humour and you will believe in working hard but having a lot of fun along the way!  

Some agency experience would be very beneficial in this role and we would consider someone straight from agency looking for their first internal recruitment opportunity.
