The Organisation

To help drive the above, the Bulldogs are searching for a suitably qualified Human Resources Generalist on a permanent part time basis to manage all functions of the HR department and become an integral part of the management team.

The Role

This opportunity is suited to an accomplished professional with the ability to build and maintain key relationships and implement and lead initiatives whilst identifying further opportunities for HR presence.

The role is a standalone position offering a flexible working arrangement on a part-time basis with an average of 22 hours per week. The spread of working hours is negotiable, therefore offering a fantastic opportunity for work life balance.

With a dual reporting line, this broad generalist role will see you involved in all aspects of human resources including:

  • Recruitment - development of interview guides, screening applicants, reference checking, contract drafting; 
  • Employee relations - policies and employee performance, data review including exit interviews, worker’s compensation/RTW coordination;
  • Learning and Development - capability development, working with management to identify training needs;
  • Cultural – support senior management with administrative and operational delivery of new cultural initiatives.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to provide HR advice to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective HR solutions and manage HR processes.
  • A solid understanding of contemporary HR practice, and experience in interpreting and applying relevant industrial instruments, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Initiative and problem solving.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
