About the role:

This role is a new addition to the organisational structure, therefore our client is looking for you to bring your experience, passion and ideas to make it your own. As a HR Business Partner you will cover all generalist HR functions for the organisation including contributing to HR strategy, recruitment and selection, performance management and industrial relations issues occasionally. Work closely with senior leaders in the business to contribute to organisational change management and project implementation as required.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • The full spectrum of generalist HR responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to management within your specific business area
  • Participating in the Talent Acquisition process and liaising with the TA team.
  • Championing exciting changes in organisational culture
  • Working on employee retention and recognition programs
  • HR Related Administration & policy implementation

About You:

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or business and equivalent HR generalist experience relevant to the role requirements
  • Proven experience in a generalist Human Resources position within the commercial or Government sectors
  • Proven ability to work successfully as part of a wider HR team
  • Excellent relationship management skills dealing with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and ability to interpret EBAs
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
