An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our Manufacturing team based in Rydalmere. As the HR Coordinator your focus will be on the effective management of competency based skills development and assessment across the plant together with providing general HR advice for the operations team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct a training needs analysis, identify skill gaps and develop site and individual training plans to close those gaps
- Establish and implement skill assessment procedures
- Establish and communicate career paths for Operators through a new in-house classification structure
- Support line managers in facilitating the transfer of employees throughout the plant as required and make proposals to address any wage or allowance anomalies
- Develop and implement training plans for team building, problem solving and soft skills for Supervisors and Leading Hands
- Work with WHS to increase adoption of job rotation
- Develop and lead initiatives to improve site employee communications and reduce absenteeism
- Establish ways to improve employee engagement, including reward and recognition programs
- Support Line Managers in the timely resolution of employee grievances
Skills/Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources is essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a manufacturing environment handling people related issues, including skill development
- Previous experience in a HR Advisory or Training & Development Coordination role
- Must be proficient in MS Office
- Ability to form co-operative relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Must demonstrate a strong 'can do' attitude
- Must demonstrate a positive customer service attitude and approach
