About the role
Do you have excellent customer service, strong administrative skills, a good work ethic and keen eye for detail? We have an opportunity for a strong communicator to assist our Health Executive Service Unit initially on a temporary basis for a period of up to 12 months. You will be available to work up to 25 hours a week, on a Monday and Friday and one other day in between.
 
You will support recruitment and provide advice and administration relating to a wide range of employment matters for Public Sector senior executives (PSSEs) and Health Service senior executives (HSSEs) across NSW Health, and have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge of the Government Sector Employment Act.  As part of a small team, you will prepare and provide high quality written and verbal advice, sometimes at short notice, whilst balancing competing priorities. You will also be passionate about ensuring quality processes and continuously looking for better ways to achieve outcomes.

Where you'll be working
The NSW Ministry of Health supports the Minister for Health and Minister for Mental Health to protect and improve the health and wellbeing of people in NSW. It functions as a coordination point for the entire NSW public health system.
Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor and Director, People, this role is based within the Workplace Relations Branch at the Ministry of Health, in the heart of North Sydney.  
 
What you need
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in human resources or sound relevant experience with a strong attention to detail. With your excellent customer service, strong administrative skills and collaborative approach, you will be looking to be part of a high performing team.
