Overview
Pet Circle is one of Australia's top 5 e-commerce sites, with growth rates of around 100% year on year since our inception 7 years ago.
We're looking for an HR Generalist to take command of our Eastern Creek warehouse. This is a permanent part time opportunity- 20-25 hours a week. We're offering a generous salary, and the ability to take ownership of all of the HR duties (No recruitment required) for our recently constructed warehouse, such as the administration of HR policies, procedures and programs across WHS, employee relations, benefits, compensation etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives
- Help develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organisation.
- Help bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
- Support leaders, teams and employees to develop a strong and productive working environment.
- Support in workforce planning to help coordinate the recruitment and on-boarding process.
- Build and develop WHS policies and strategies across the warehousing and head office.
- Ensure the overall health and well-being of employees is proactively managed ans supported.
You ideally have-
- At least 5 years' professional experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in operational/warehouse environments and/or in blue-collar industries.
- BS degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience in supporting the health and well-being of employees.
- Working knowledge of company policies and relevant legislation's.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision making.
- Experience creating and implementing WHS policies across various sites
