The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced SHE and return to work specialist to join the team at our Hoxton Park DC.  Reporting to the DC Manager, you will partner closely with the Operations Manager and National Safety & Health Manager to foster and champion a safety culture and a safe working environment in our shed. You will also be responsbile for the following:

• Based on the national strategy, develop the site logistics safety plan, and implement.

• Responsible for coaching & training leaders to deliver a safe environment for team members, contractors and visitors

• Lead severity 1&2 investigations and and assist in severity 3 & 4 monitor or escalate preventable actions

• Implement and deliver training as per Training Needs Analysis

About You

To be successful in this role and enjoy and thrive in our culture, you will also have the following core experiences:

• Solid SH&E experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

• Proven experience in a management or leadership role

• Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills

• Working knowledge of all legislation relevant to the SH&E compliance
