What you will be delivering

AusNet Services are looking for an experienced Remuneration Professional to join our team in Southbank Melbourne on a 12-month parental leave contract.

Reporting to the Head of Remuneration this role will be managing the group wide remuneration and benefits programs and delivering specialist remuneration advice and support, including research and report writing. The incumbent provides specialist reward advice, working collaboratively with HR teams to provide effective remuneration solutions for our various business units.  The role requires a seasoned Reward professional to work through priorities, complex issues across all aspects of Reward within a busy team.

Duties:

  • Lead and co-ordinate the company wide remuneration programs and cyclical activities such as the annual performance and reward cycle, the annual short term incentive plan and employee share plan offers
  • Assist in the analysis and preparation of Remuneration Committee Board papers
  • Undertake research and evaluation of remuneration issues
  • Provide specialist reward advice to HR Business Partners and business stakeholders
  • Role Job Evaluations (Hay) and market benchmarking
  • Completion of salary surveys
  • Support the execution of Reward projects

What we like about you:         

  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to discuss and interpret complex data for all audiences
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly numeric and analytical to be able to consolidate and interpret complex data
  • SuccessFactors – Compensation module experience highly desirable
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, HR or related discipline.
  • Ideally at least 5 years demonstrated experience supporting remuneration programs within a corporate environment.
  • A strong communicator, with capacity to build relationships across the business
  • Energetic, ethical and collaborative
  • Ability to execute enterprise wide projects (e.g. remuneration review)
  • Ability in creating and manipulating management information from raw data sources and providing insights and recommendations.
