This role is with a newly established and rapidly growing Technology Services centre within NSW Gov which offers enhanced technical capability to its business units. Reporting to the Associate Director of People & Culture, the main focus of this role is to provide high quality advice to management on the transition of staff to the new structure and to support staff through the transition phase.  This involves liaising with key stakeholders and staff at all levels across multiple sites therefore very strong stakeholder engagement skills are required.  The role offers an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing team on one of the biggest IT services transition programs in the southern hemisphere.
We would be interested in applications from candidates with the following skills and experience:
  • Experience of transitioning staff into new organisational structures.  Experience in the Public Sector would be highly regarded but candidates with strong staff transition experience in the private sector are also invited to apply
  • Very strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Strong experience in dealing with IR issues in reorganisation situations and knowledge of Award structures, or how to research into these
  • Strong experience of preparation and repurposing of business documentation
  • Approx 8 + HR experience
  • Consultative style and highly outcome focussed
  • Experience within a Professional and/or Technical Services environment woud be of interest
The role is initially offered as a 6 month contract to mid January 2019 with a strong chance of continuing much longer.  It is based at Chatswood, close to main rail and bus routes and with on site parking.
