Kinexus celebrated 17 years of being in business this year. We place over 600 people a year into engineering, technical, ICT and scientific roles within the Defence sector. We are currently supporting the defence sector by providing both permanent and contract personnel to support the redevelopment of almost all its major platforms.
We are currently hiring for this position in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Victor Harbour (SA).
The role:
- Sourcing and identifying engineering and technical talent that will support defence sector activity within the technical space
- Using sourcing techniques to build talent pools of highly skilled individuals
- Networking with the best talent in the engineering sector
- Managing the flow of work between our clients and our workers
- Building relationships with our clients and candidates
- Talking / interviewing / communicating with a lot of people
Experience required:
- A strong understanding of engineering or defence
- Tertiary qualification preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet
- Ability to work in a team
- Ideally some experience of communicating over various mediums - email/telephone/face-to-face
We have a dedicated training manager whose role will be to develop your skills.
Training provided:
- Recruitment process and systems
- Understanding Defence
- Develop your social media presence
- Understanding of workforce development
These are entry level/graduate type positions that require people who want to grow with us and have a passion for the Defence industry. The ability to speak a foreign language would also be beneficial as is the ability to travel.
