HR Manager/Generalist – Australian Retailer!
This is a true HR generalist role in a unique and dynamic retail environment.
Our client is a proudly Australian grown company with over 200+ years of business, our client still represents growth and success! This is one of Australia’s largest and most successful retailers, with stores located across Australia. This company provides their employees with excellent training, development and career opportunities.
Reporting through to the People & Culture Director this role will help to champion the smooth running of HR Operations across the brands. With having 2 director reports the role manages a team of dedicated and passionate HR Advisors who have a great skill set but would like further development to help them to continue on their HR journey.
You will provide advice and support to the Executive team across all areas of HR and ensure effective communication between manager and employers to foster a progressive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement organisational development strategies for people management and organisational performance
- Implement proactive policies and procedures
- Manage all succession planning, training and development and performance management processes
- Lead the provision of advice and support to the Executive managers across resolution of disputes and grievances
- Develop and manage the annual budget across all function
- IR/ER/L&D/Recruitment & Selection
To Be Successful You Will Have:
- Extensive experience across organisational development or a similar HR Manager or HR Generalist Role
- High degree of stakeholder focus with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Ideally Fashion/Retail/FMCG industries
- High level of verbal and written communication skill
- Experience leading and mentoring a HR team to deliver best practice
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful and challenging situations
