About the role:

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, the P&C Advisor is responsible for partnering with the business to provide generalist advice in the area of Human Resources, including but not limited to policy, engagement, capability, development, industrial relations and grievance management. Your duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Partnering with line leaders to proactively engage employees.
  • Proactively recommend people solutions to support business changes.
  • Being available and proactive in forming relationships with employees that position this role as approachable and highly visible.
  • Assisting with the development and review of People & Culture policies and processes.
  • Communicate, educate and train employees and leaders on key People & Culture initiatives, policies and programs.
  • Provide support to leaders to resolve employee relations disputes and identify potential people issues before they arise.
  • Conduct investigations as appropriate, following due process.
  • Guide leaders in all People & Culture policies and process, including but not limited to performance management, Inclusion/EEO, learning and development, remuneration, resource planning and talent
  • As required, assist with the implementation and administration of the HCM system, including communication, education and training of the business. As required, assist with the recruitment and on-boarding/induction process.
  • Provide training, support and guidance to leaders.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, recommending changes and ensuring best practice is applied.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the People & Culture team to ensure a one team, one family approach.

About You:

  • Qualifications in HR or Business or related field is an advantage
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role in a medium to large organisation
  • Sound understanding of employment law
  • Prior experience working with HRIS and change programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
