We are looking to strengthen our Australian Talent Acquisition Group (TAG) by recruiting a highly experienced Technology Recruiter for our Sydney office, located on 4/28 Margaret Street. The successful candidate is someone who has previous recruitment experience within a professional services organisation.

Working as part of the ANZ Talent Acquisition Group at Cognizant, you will build strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders at senior level to engage with the best talent in the market. Using innovative and varied sourcing channels, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process in the digital / IT consultancy space.

To be considered, you must have a strong background as either an internal or agency recruitment consultant, sourcing and recruiting specialist IT roles.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding procedures across all levels of hires, industries and various locations within the ANZ region
• Write and post adverts as well as actively source and approach passive individuals
• Promote opportunities for career progression at Cognizant
• Organise and conduct interviews (phone screens, web-ex, face-to-face)
• Responsible for salary negotiations and offers
• Creating and implementing recruitment strategies using newest in market sourcing channels and other avenues
• Build and manage talent pipelines
• Advising and supporting hiring managers and interviewees on their role in the recruitment process
• Organise and/or participate in a range of attraction and recruitment focused events such as MeetUp Groups, hackatons and industry events
• Prepare contracts of employment
• Coordinate and undertake on-boarding activities for new hires
• Maintain databases and records related to sourcing recruitment and on-boarding
• Assist with ongoing quality assurance and advice in relation to the preparation of PD
• Maintain databases and records related to sourcing, recruitment and onboarding
• Keep track on industry trends

Key experience required:

• Degree qualified, preferably in HR or equivalent
• Previous experience in technology recruitment role or similar
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Passionate and ambitious
• Competent in the use of MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in the use of an Application Tracking System (ATS)
• Demonstrated practice of assessment and selection of talent
