POSITION OVERVIEW:

This newly created role is responsible for creating and managing our Subaru training programs to enhance the customer experience delivered in the Subaru retail stores within the dealer network. The online cutting edge training programs are delivered through the virtual Subaru do Academy to ultimately improve capability and thus have a positive impact on the customer experience. This role does not sit within an HR team, it is directly connected to Network Development Team.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage the Subaru do Academy, focusing on Product and Customer Experience training. Enhance the Subaru do Academy by taking it to the next level of evolution & development.
  • Deliver exceptional communications to internal and external stakeholders to promote initiatives and recognize training success.
  • Own and manage Training Reporting and Recognition programs.
  • Lead the Training Needs Analysis process for Subaru Australia.
  • Oversee the management of the Learning Management System (LMS), enhancing the LMS to achieve best in class training standards.
  • Create online training content & work with external partner to bring this content to life in a creative and engaging manner
  • Implement changes to enhance the current online content/design and structure and on-road training format to enhance learner capability
  • Support Subaru Projects and implementation of Pilot Programs as defined by the Subaru Strategy
  • Facilitate face to face training if & when required
  • Review all key supplier SLA's and consult key stakeholders (internal and external) re the performance of the key suppliers

Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years experience in a training/capability development role
  • Instructional design skills for online content - ability to translate content for online programs and bring the content to life in a creative way
  • Learning Management System (LMS) strategy and management experience
  • Superior content writing skills
  • Key stakeholder management skills
  • Key supplier management skills
  • Facilitation experience both online and offline
