About the Role
Accelerate your career as a Human Resources/OD Partner with North Queensland Zinc Assets, based in Mount Isa.  This role reports to the Senior People Development Business Partner and will be directly responsible for contributing to the quality delivery of People Development activities.  You will partner with the leaders delivering people activities including:
  • Leadership

  • Retention and Employee Development
  • Talent Management
  • Succession Planning
  • International Mobility 
As a People Development Specialist, you will join a team of skilled, multi-disciplined Human Resource professionals and actively partner with the business leaders and HR team to achieve results that meet the business plan.

About You
You will be a positive driver of change, and have the ability to effectively communicate across all work groups. You will be a practical HR generalist with experience as Organisational Development specialist, passion for contributing to practical programs that engage and develop workforces. You will have strong partnership skills and broad technical ability within HR, combined with excellent influencing, coaching, and relationship building skills. This role requires the ability to execute engagement and retention programs in an industrial workforce, mining experience is preferred.

To be successful:
  • Very strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of people development activities for Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities. 
  • Tertiary qualified in HR or related.
  • Tactical, warm, engaging, self-driven.
