This role will support the Chief Executive in leading a change agenda to take Able Australia into the next generation of Disability services.

 

The Role:

The National Director People & Culture is responsible for building the People and Culture employee capability through the delivery of the strategic and associated plans. This is part of Able Australia’s growth agenda in a changing environment that will see the implementation and embedding of change of workforce and business models through NDIS.

You will be an energetic, highly-strategic, resilient, and collaborative leader. Proven expertise in senior leadership roles and the ability to manage complex and diverse HR functions is essential.

You will ensure business plans are developed to achieve strategic priorities and performance goals of staff are aligned, ensuring accountabilities and authorities are clear. Commercially savvy, you will have exceptional change capability and interpersonal skills as you will engage and build respectful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

With a proven track record of driving HR reform agendas, you are a collaborative decision maker and strong leader with the ability to develop and inspire others. Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement to build a constructive culture is key for this role.

This role would suit a senior executive with strong background in HR management, transformation and culture. Strong people management skills, communication capability including negotiation,  and performance evaluation abilities will be critical to your success. A relevant qualification in HR, Psychology, Business, Management or related field is expected. Working knowledge of the disabilities or health sector is advantageous, but not essential.
