Would you like to kick start your career in an exciting, large scale project orientated Government Department? This is a rare opportunity to gain work experience and on the job training in business with a focus on safety and project support!
This role will see you in a 12 month traineeship position over which you will complete a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety. If you are a motivated person looking for a challenge with great prospects, apply today!
WPC Group are on the look out for driven, committed and highly reliable talent - people who are wanting to gain practical experience whilst receiving extensive training in a business environment with a focus in Workplace Health & Safety.
What are some of the duties:
- Faxing, filing, data entry
- Phone bookings, email correspondence
- File & record management and basic administrative duties
- Project support to the Safety team
- Taking and compiling meeting minutes
- Developing templates, powerpoint presentations and spreadsheets
- Eventually you will be undertaking safety inductions for staff
What we are looking for:
- Highly reliable and punctual at all times
- Mature minded, well-presented and well spoken
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Friendly with a positive can do attitude
- Strong work ethic and commitment to a 12 month Traineeship
- A great team worker with good organisation skills
- Effective time management and strong communication skills
- Confident in using Microsoft applications
