The Role

A 12 month maternity leave cover Senior HR Manager contract role, approximate start date mid October 2018. This role will lead a highly capable and motivated team including; 1 x HR Advisor and 2 x administrators. Reporting directly into the Regional Managing Director for the Pacific region (Australia and New Zealand) and with dotted line responsibility to the VP HR in Geneva Switzerland.

In this role you will be a part of the leadership team working closely with senior executives across all three brands; Revlon, Revlon Professional and Elizabeth Arden as well as support functions in both Australia and New Zealand.

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities for Revlon Pacific. You will be responsible for;

  • Recruitment;
  • Training and development;
  • Compensation/remuneration/benefits;
  • Performance evaluation/review and management;
  • Organisational development, effectiveness and structural design;
  • WHS
  • Employee wellness;
  • HR Administration including management and updated HRIS;
  • Oversee Payroll;
  • Employee communications;
  • Employment/industrial/labour relations.
  • Management of 3 team members

 

 

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated high level of business acumen and knowledge of HR best practices;
  • Demonstrated history of delivery of concrete HR services in a wide range of HR areas to client groups;
  • Strong HR business partnering capabilities; ability to create effective and productive work relationships;
  • Demonstrated planning, project management and execution skills;
  • Able to provide hands-on HR support for both tactical and strategic business issues.
  • Action oriented coupled with not only urgency but accuracy;
  • Requires strong oral and written communication /presentation skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and employees at all levels.
  • Ability to think analytically, conceptually, creatively and systemically in order to resolve problems and deliver new ways to improve processes and performance.
  • Ability to develop direct report and team members in a way that broadens knowledge and skills for increased career opportunity.
