An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and organised People and Culture Administrator to join the Safety, People and Culture team, based in Cooma in a 9 month, fixed term position. This role will support the People Services team, managers and employees by driving improvements to the management and coordination of company travel arrangements whilst maintaining administration of the delivery of travel bookings for all employees outside of the Sydney office. The role is also responsible for assisting with delivery of people services including training coordination and general administration relating to employment records, queries and processes.

 

You will report directly to the Manager People Services and be part of a team of human resources professionals and administrative assistants. Your day to day role may also include preparing employment contracts from templates, entering employee and position data into the HRIS, administering employee records in our document management systems, responding to queries from managers and employees and general administrative support for the Safety, People and Culture Group.

 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Skills in Office or Google documents

  • Previous experience in management & administration of corporate travel arrangements, employee and HR related records is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated high level administrative skills

  • Interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to take responsibility and initiative

  • Considerable judgement, tact, creativity and initiative in problem resolution and process improvement

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality requirements
