ABOUT THE ROLE:
- This is a part time ongoing role (0.8 FTE)
- Located in Western Australia across eight aged care facilities.
- This position is responsible for managing and improving the WHS systems and processes with the aim of achieving a safe working environment for our people
- The role will provide support in the management of site WHS activities including ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and in accordance with organisational programs, policies and procedures.
- A key part of the duties will be designing, developing and delivering WHS and manual handling training.

ABOUT US:

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE:
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety
- A minimum of five years health and safety experience preferably within the Health, Aged Care or Community Care sectors
- Ability to lead and manage change initiatives across multiple sites and business streams
- Ability to develop, manage and conduct effective training and education programs in WHS and manual handling
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
