About the Role:

The purpose of this position is provide support to the Injury Management Team Leader in the administration of injury management including the review of pre-employment medicals, assisting in the management of workers compensation claims, and assisting with return to work programs.

About you:

This role is ideally suited to an experienced Injury Management Advisor who is able to apply themselves across a number of areas. We offer some flexibility with start and finish times so are keen to talk to anyone that values the opportunity for some work-life balance or that may be returning to the workforce. We are also open to someone working 4 days per week. You will be a proactive team player who is a confident diligent leader.

Essential Skills:

• Review pre-employment medicals and act as the liaison between the outsourced provider, internal recruitment advisor, and the hiring manager on the outcomes.
• Assist in the management of workers compensation claims.
• Assist in the management of return to work programs.
• Promote consistency in approach across Citywide sites.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Ensure that all invoices for third parties are paid on time and in accordance with company policy.
• Ensure that all files are kept up to date.
• Maintain statistics.
• Escalate complex issues and cases to the Injury Management Team Leader.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders and internal customers.
• Liaise with agent to ensure effective management of claims.
• Liaise and assist Legal professionals to ensure optimum legal outcomes
• Provide training and support to all Citywide personnel with regards to managing work place injuries
