To continue this focus on creating exceptional solutions for our clients, we are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join on our team on a 12 month maternity leave contract beginning in early August 2018.
Based in our Brisbane office, the HR Advisor will utilise their exceptional generalist HR skills to provide operational HR support to the Engineering division, working closely with our employee groups, management team and the wider HR team. The HR Advisor will be a critical partner for our Engineering business, work closely with the Group Manager, and will assist in driving and influencing operational outcomes and key people strategies, as well as providing practical support and advice on all HR matters.
Being degree qualified and ideally having civil construction industry experience, the suitable applicant will have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage their time to effectively provide solutions in the fundamental areas of HR, including:
HR compliance management in line with legislation and internal systems and processes;
End-to-end recruitment activities;
Internal resource management;
Employee relationship management;
Industrial relations management;
Management of internal learning and development; and
Operational and organisational development.
This role is well suited to a vibrant, enthusiastic and driven individual with a well developed knowledge of general human resources practices and a grounded and level headed approach.
