Employee engagement is directly linked to strong administrative HR support. TNT Australia is currently looking for a positive and solutions focussed HR Administrator based at our head office in Sydney. The role sits within the head office HR team and offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of the HR function of a global organisation.

About the role

The role is currently offered on a 18 month fixed-term contract basis, and the immediate focus will be on facilitating the implementation of a new administrative process that will form part of the standardised employee on-boarding process moving forward.

Whilst a large component of time will be spent on this important project initially, the position will also take on a broader range of generalist HR administrative duties in the long term, such as:

  • Updating and managing employee data in Excel and the HR internal system (SAP)
  • Manage and process pre-employment checks and on-boarding documents of new employees
  • Generate contracts and letters of offer for the business at a national level.
  • Manage the employee long-service award process
  • Support the payroll team with employee enquiries
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR enquiries
