We are looking for a dynamic and motivated HR Business Partner to join our existing team of HR Business Partners. This is a permanent full-time role based in our Hamilton Head Office. We are seeking candidates who are skilled HR generalists with strong training and program development expertise. Ideally, your experience will have been gained in a fast paced retail environment.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will own the training portfolio and provide support to an interstate Client Group, executing HR initiatives, exceeding KPI’s, delivering agreed excellent outcomes, providing practical advice and enabling a high performance culture.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Be the local lead for in-house training programs (facilitation, controls and content development to established standards);
• Manage induction, orientation and on-boarding processes and programs;
• Hands on recruitment - to obtain right candidate, in the right time, with the right skills and at the right cost;
• Succession planning and talent acquisition;
• Liaise with the global HR Shared Services team on transactional HR activities;
• Drive performance management processes; and
• Partner with Client Group to ensure the business achieves high performance with compliance to Human Resources processes and policy.

The ideal applicant will have:

• Tertiary HR qualification and Certificate IV In Workplace Training and Assessment;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR position. Previous experience in the retail sector will be highly regarded;
• Experience in the development and delivery of successful training programs
• Ability to develop training to suit a range of learning styles across all levels of the organisation;
• Excellent facilitation abilities with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Advanced MS Office abilities and HRIS experience (Workday experience preferred);
• Knowledge of employee relations including the ability to provide advice on awards, enterprise agreements, and employment related legislation;
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide a consistent service in line with the Human Resource philosophy;
• Ability to work the hours required to get the work done;
• High resilience, positive demeanour and ability to produce excellent results in a fast paced, ever changing environment; and
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and ability to work with a remote Client Group.

This position will require extensive travel, flexibility with days and times of travel, and the successful candidate must hold and maintain a minimum C class driver's license.
