Our client are a well respected Civil contractor who have a National as well as International presence in the industry. They are working on iconic local projects and have a very healthy pipeline of work and growth plans.  The business are now seeking an experienced HR Business Partner with experience from a Resource/Project based environment with 8 years + relevant experience. Ideally this will be in Engineering/Construction. The role will work closely with the wider people and culture team with operational support from head office. 

You will be a support for day to day HR queries across the blue collar employees in the business as well as creating, delivering and planning strategic initiatives around, learning, coaching, development, reward and succession planning amongst others. 

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Providing general HR coaching and support to a broad range of people and teams across areas such as HR policies, performance management and employee relations
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of people practices in support of the business strategy
• Dealing with HR/ER queries across from all business units

To be considered for the position you will require:

• Broad experience in the provision of HR support
• A minimum of 8 years experience in HR
• You will have previously worked in Engineering/Construction or Resource/project based businesses.
