About the role:

Accountable for the day-to-day HR functions and full employee lifecycle of the organisation, this role will directly contribute to providing high-level, customer-centric services across the business.

As the People and Culture Partner, the candidate will support the HR Director to design, deliver and facilitate HR initiatives within a professional, technical and innovative working environment.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support, guide and coach managers with high level advice across all HR functions within different portfolios, understanding their business and operational goals
  • Support the performance management process, looking after case work and employee relations issues
  • Drive the recruitment and selection process and coach hiring managers on workforce planning and organisational development
  • Facilitate and implement capability management and development for all levels and stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement
  • Analyse and report on HR data and metrics, aligning the results to operational and strategic objectives

The successful candidate will have:

  • Ideally minimum of 10 years HR Management or Business Partner experience within Government
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in building successful partnerships within the business across a range of stakeholders
  • A consultative approach, solutions and outcome focused
  • Ability to solve problems within complex environments
  • Strong focus on team work and collaboration, whilst also showing initiative and autonomy
  • Passionate about customer service and engagement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A degree in HR or a relevant discipline
