About Monash Health
Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital.
About the Role
This role will be responsible for supporting People and Culture professionals and line management to deliver best practice employee relations outcomes. Working with key internal and external stakeholders, you will develop and implement employee and industrial relations strategies driven by and consistent with the strategic direction of the Employee Relations team and People and Culture within Monash Health.
Specific responsibilities will include
- Conducting workplace investigations and reviews
- Delivering accurate, pragmatic and timely employee relations advice
- Assisting in the development of organisational understanding and application of best practice employee relations strategy and industrial obligations
- Assisting in the review and maintenance of People & Culture policies and procedures to ensure best practice and compliance with industrial obligations
About you
You are a passionate employee relations professional with significant experience in a complex, multi-site environment.
What you need
- An undergraduate qualification in Law, Employee/Industrial Relations and/or Human Resources Management
- Current motor vehicle driver’s licence
Post graduate studies in a relevant field are highly desirable.
