Your new company
This organisation has a global footprint and a corporate head office based in Brisbane's western suburbs. Our client is renowned for their state of the art technology within their specific manufacturing space. Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has been created for a Recruitment Officer for a six month contract.

Your new role
This role will report directly into the National Talent Acquisition Manager and work alongside a team of talented and experienced recruiters. You will provide recruitment advice, support and services to assist all key hiring managers and finding the right people for their vacancies.

• Coaching, advising and supporting Line Managers with the entire recruitment process including providing knowledge of recruitment legislation, equal opportunity employment, anti-discrimination and diversity policies;
• Reactive and proactive talent sourcing and ensuring the recruitment and attraction process remains confidential, discreet and timely;
• Database management to ensure candidate care, reporting and record keeping is consistently met to a high standard;
• Liaising with external agency providers and assisting with internal transfers and secondments;
• Advertising on job boards, telephone screening, interviewing, reference checking, pre-employment medical management and coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience within an internal recruitment capacity, or strong agency blue collar experience;
• Strong knowledge of recruitment databases or ability to work with new systems quickly;
• Employment Relations knowledge or exposure with regards to Awards, Enterprise Agreements and legislation;
• End to end recruitment experience with a large variety of roles, particularly within the mining, manufacturing or heavy industry space.
