About Them
A leader in their field, this manufacturing business has operations in Melbourne and Sydney. They are driving growth in Australian manufacturing by supplying to local industries such as food and beverage, construction, mining and energy, agriculture and water conservation, amongst many others. With an agenda for change and driving a performance-based culture, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Industrial Relations professional to join their team.

About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources, this role will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the industrial relations framework to enable and support the strategic plans and vision of the organisation. A primary focus will be to lead and negotiate two EBAs, represent the organisation at FWA, and help to drive the change agenda. 

About Success
Building relationships across all levels of the business will be critical to your success, as will an ability to coach and advise business leaders and facilitate resolutions around a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters. 

About You
Presenting with tertiary qualifications in HR/Industrial Relations, Law or a related field, you are recognised as a contemporary Industrial Relations Leader. Although your skills have been developed in either in an HR Generalist role or in a specialist stream, you have proficient experience and knowledge around the Fair Work Act, other State and Federal employment legislation. You have extensive experience in negotiating EBAs in a complex environment, and experience in representing the business at Fair Work for conciliation and arbitration hearings. Your demonstrated experience and comfort in balancing strategic and tactical elements of this position will also be highly regarded, as will experience gained in manufacturing, transports/logistics, mining/resources or a related field.
