The position

As part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative culture that takes extraordinary ideas and brings them to life, we have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Training and Development Officer to join our Food and Beverage Team.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Food and Beverage, you will undertake an integral role in collaborating with key stakeholders to coordinate and deploy training initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the organisation.

This is an exciting 11 Month Fixed Term (Parental leave) opportunity for an experienced and qualified training professional to join an iconic brand and be responsible for the development and coordination of training initiatives for Food and Beverage department. This will include:

• Completing training needs analysis (TNA) for the department through job analysis and skill assessments
• Providing recommendations and designing training programs for both team and individual needs taking into account departmental budget
• Facilitating training (both team and individual)
• Liaising and partnering with key internal stakeholders and external providers to support training activities
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on training program effectiveness; identifying and implementing improvements where required
• Maintaining team and individual training records and providing relevant and timely reporting
• Consulting with and participating in communities of practice with management and People & Culture

We want you to engage with your stakeholders and utilise your learning development experience to design and deliver innovative training and development solutions. We are seeking a dedicated talent who can demonstrate:

• Suitable training qualifications focused on adult learning (eg: minimum of a Cert IV Training and Assessment)
• Previous experience in completing a Training Needs Analysis, designing and facilitating training programs to meet needs
• Previous experience in instructional design and facilitation across all organisation levels
• Previous experience in evaluating training program effectiveness and providing reporting and recommendations
• Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent
• Proficiency with MS Office products
